Four Generations Present At Pre-Anniversary Affair

Holcombs Celebrate 50 Years
The golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Grover C. Holcomb, 1052 Acacia St., (San Bernardino, CA) was the occasion which brought together 23 members of the family at a pre-anniversary dinner in honor of the couple.  Mr. and Mrs. Holcomb will have been married 50 years on July 3.
Gathering at the home of Mrs. John R. Paul, 3064 Pennsylvania Ave., granddaughter of the guests of honor, four generations were represented at the event, which also marked the July 3 birthday of their daughter, Mrs. Annie Orta.
Included in the family are two children, seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.  With the exception of one grandson, all were present for the gala celebration.
Married July 3, 1907, in Brownwood, Tex., the couple moved to California in 1923, and made their home in Compton for 34 years.
